Our 14 year old garage door spring failed during the holidays. I was shocked to speak to an actual person when I called Precision Door at around 8:30 on a Sunday! They had their technician Daray come out on a Sunday (the same day I called) late in the day! He did a tremendous job replacing springs, rollers, bearings, and installing a new key pad. This business exemplifies customer service! Daray is a hard and knowledgeable worker with an amazing attitude. I was very impressed with their availability, friendly phone staff, and professional work! I will highly recommend Daray and Precision Door to anyone who needs garage door service!!!

We have used Precision ever since we moved into this new house 4.5 years ago. They have been out before, to replace a motor after an electrical storm burned it out. Daray Ferguson came out this time to fix broken springs in the main garage door. It was a Renner 300lb double door and was never balanced appropriately when installed. The springs weren't turned the way they were supposed to be when we moved in, so in less then 5 years (the warranty on the springs), they snapped. Daray was very honest and great at explaining the issues we had. More importantly, he replaced the springs, balanced the door, and lubricated everything that needed it, to ensure the longevity of the units. We will be contacting Renner for reimbursement on a new set of springs due to the warranty on those springs. Very satisfied with Precision!

I chose this company because the fee for the trip charged was lower than some companies, but then I noticed the great comments, so I decided to give it a try. I was very impressed with tech Duray. he knew what my problems were as soon as I pressed the button to open the door, my problems was fixed almost immediately, he even explained what problems I may start having and what too look out for and what I don't need to worry about working on for now. My car accidentally bumped my garage door and it jammed it halfway open so that I could neither close the door nor open it. I was totally freaking out so I looked for a garage door repair facility in the Olathe area. I called Precision because they were veteran owned and had good reviews. I was panic stricken but they were able to fit me in that afternoon. Eric called before arriving to let me know he was on the way. He was extremely knowledgeable and capable. One side of the garage door had jumped the track but he was able to get it back where it belonged and push the door back into alignment. He was very courteous and very quick and totally fixed my problem within a very short time frame. I was absolutely thrilled and I’m so glad that I called them. I highly recommend them and will definitely call them again if I ever have another boo-boo or other issue with my garage!

I requested an appointment and your tech came out to give me a quote. Honestly, what i anticipated to be a $250 fee to fix a broken cable turned into a $784 "fix everything" upsell which i felt was not needed and unnecessary. Your tech (Daray) kept rattling off charges up to around $500 just to "fix" the door but made it clear that it may not be fixed and that i needed to do the $799 package (which he took a few dollars off). I do not believe my door needed anything more than a new cable that snapped and your tech essentially forced me into an $800 fix that should have been a $250 fix. He was here for 51 minutes start to finish. Extremely disappointed in this type of service when i am at a disadvantage with COVID happening and needing my door fixed. They were not wearing PPE either which did not make me nor my wife happy since they had to go through the house to make the repair.

Repair fine but disappointed in trip fee and environmental surcharge that competitor did not charge two weeks for similar repair at different location. Also, left garage door opener inoperable so I had to fix myself.

I highly recommend using this company! I have absolutely no knowledge about garage doors and their staff was very honest and comforting. I called late on a Wednesday night after 7pm and they were able to come out as early as 830 the next morning. The swevicemen were very kind, professional, knowledagble, and quick! They did not try to oversell me anything and were very honest about the problems with our garage door. This was one of the best service experiences I have had in years as far as quickness/professionalism/affordability/kindness. I highly recommend this company.

We contacted Precision when the spring on our garage door broke. They were able to come out that evening to look at it. Travis, the technician, looked at it all and gave us recommendations and a price. We thought we were going to schedule an appointment, but he said, ok, I will have it done within a couple of hours. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quick attention. He was very knowledgeable and his work also fixed a sensor issue we had been having. We had a great experience with Precision.
