Installation of new garage door opener went well. The door is now going up and down easily and is very quiet. The only down side is we were given two openers and one is not working and we have had it less than a month.

Saw TV ad and had spring replaced almost a year ago. Recently one of the cables that lifts the door came off the pulley. Based on last service I called Precision again. Turns out there was also a factory defect in the spring they replaced a year ago. They replaced the spring under warranty and the rest of the repairs were less than $90. Precision Garage Door's estimate for spring replacement and opener installation on my single garage door exceeded $2,000 – a figure that seemed unjustifiably high given local market rates. When I raised concerns, the technician responded defensively, citing a 200% cost increase and tariffs as justification, which felt dismissive rather than explanatory. Fortunately, a second local provider inspected the same setup and quoted half the price for equivalent work, underscoring the discrepancy. While Precision may deliver quality repairs, their pricing and communication fell short, leading me to select a more transparent and cost-effective option. I won't be returning for future needs.

Richard was it technician was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining everything to us. He gave us several options on the amount of work we wanted to get done. After he was done are 3 doors all were working like new.

Had very professional service when Precision worked on my garage door in the past. Recommended you to my step daughter [Renee] for her door problems. When we set up the appointment we did on-line chat to confirm we would get a heads-up before technician headed to the site. We did not receive the heads-up which was needed since no one was at house to answer the door. [Fortunately, my step-daughter happened to be there] By the time I arrived the work was completed and I paid for the work [about a half-hour job]. When I asked Landon what he found he gave me an answer like: "I knew what the problem was and took care of it." No specific steps he did. Then he said the wheels were bad and needed to be replaced. I told him no. I was going to call Precision later in November to come and check my door, but was not as impressed today with professionalism. A call to customer before arrival should be SOP. Note: because of unavailability of having someone at the house my wife's [Renee's mother who paid] phone number was given and my email was used for contacts. No one at the house should be contacted.

About three years ago, we purchased new doors, openers, etc. for our garage from Precision. The opener for our large door recently stopped working so we called Precision to help us with it. We were told that the plastic gear in the Genie motor broke but that a new motor with a metal gear was now available...for $1,500 dollars. We were also told that it was possible to swap out the gear itself for a few hundred dollars and that we would receive a call to book the service. After a few days of waiting, we called Precision to follow-up and were told that the technician had to be consulted about it and that we would receive a call back. Needless to say, we didn't receive a call back. Unacceptable. Suggesting to replace the motor for another $1,500 after spending all that money with Precision just three years earlier is crazy. Not to mention the lack of follow through. I have a neighbor who is looking to replace their garage doors soon. Rest assured, they won't be reaching out to Precision. I look forward to seeing my comments on your site.

I left a review on Google as well. I made an appointment at 6:45 in the morning, my garage door wouldn’t open. I got an appointment for early afternoon. I was amazed. Antonio my tech even arrived early. He had my problem identified and offered 3 strategies to handle my repair. All the estimates were in writing and the one I chose was ended up exactly as quoted. The who experience was excellent. I highly recommend Procession. Their Commercial is 100% true, their techs are the top notch.

I called Precision Garage Door because I have seen their ad on TV channel 4 in the morning and their ad appealed to me. I called them today and a new garage door was installed later this afternoon by Jake their technician. The new garage door replaced and existing one that was 20 years old and had developed some minor problems. I am happy with the new garage door, the installation by Jake and especially his great personality.
