We had been having a problem off and on with the key pad opening and closing the doors for the past few weeks then it totally stopped working. I called Precision Door one morning and their technician was at my house early afternoon. The old pad was replaced and codes reset in a matter of a few minutes. It works great. Saw TV ad and had spring replaced almost a year ago. Recently one of the cables that lifts the door came off the pulley. Based on last service I called Precision again. Turns out there was also a factory defect in the spring they replaced a year ago. They replaced the spring under warranty and the rest of the repairs were less than $90. When I raised concerns, the technician responded defensively, citing a 200% cost increase and tariffs as justification, which felt dismissive rather than explanatory. Fortunately, a second local provider inspected the same setup and quoted half the price for equivalent work, underscoring the discrepancy. While Precision may deliver quality repairs, their pricing and communication fell short, leading me to select a more transparent and cost-effective option. I won't be returning for future needs.

Had very professional service when Precision worked on my garage door in the past. Recommended you to my step daughter [Renee] for her door problems. When we set up the appointment we did on-line chat to confirm we would get a heads-up before technician headed to the site. We did not receive the heads-up which was needed since no one was at house to answer the door. [Fortunately, my step-daughter happened to be there] By the time I arrived the work was completed and I paid for the work [about a half-hour job]. When I asked Landon what he found he gave me an answer like: "I knew what the problem was and took care of it." No specific steps he did. Then he said the wheels were bad and needed to be replaced. I told him no. I was going to call Precision later in November to come and check my door, but was not as impressed today with professionalism. A call to customer before arrival should be SOP. Note: because of unavailability of having someone at the house my wife's [Renee's mother who paid] phone number was given and my email was used for contacts. No one at the house should be contacted.

I was not able to get my garage door up. Your company was out within an hour. Broken spring! Antonio was very easy to work with, explained things well and looked over the entire door machinery and the other garage door. Very happy I chose Precision.

About three years ago, we purchased new doors, openers, etc. for our garage from Precision. The opener for our large door recently stopped working so we called Precision to help us with it. We were told that the plastic gear in the Genie motor broke but that a new motor with a metal gear was now available...for $1,500 dollars. We were also told that it was possible to swap out the gear itself for a few hundred dollars and that we would receive a call to book the service. After a few days of waiting, we called Precision to follow-up and were told that the technician had to be consulted about it and that we would receive a call back. Needless to say, we didn't receive a call back. Unacceptable. Suggesting to replace the motor for another $1,500 after spending all that money with Precision just three years earlier is crazy. Not to mention the lack of follow through. I have a neighbor who is looking to replace their garage doors soon. Rest assured, they won't be reaching out to Precision. I look forward to seeing my comments on your site.

Hi! I had the BEST! Precision service technician experience with London Benjamin. He installed my Brand New Equipment with Great Care. He listened to all my concerns and was very knowledgeable and Responsive. I’m really Happy with the way London took his time in checking out the Entire System including the Garage door.
