We decided to go with a different company, but your technician, Rich Leon, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions clearly and quickly. We chose someone else because your prices were way higher than others.

Precision employee arrived at my house. After checking on my single garage door he determined that the two door springs installed last fall were the wrong size. He made a call to someone regarding the wrongly installed door springs. He explained that I could choose to replace them at a cost of $60.00 or just adjust them for free. I decided to do the free adjustment because I shouldn’t have to pay for the proper springs to be installed on my door. The installer also told me that a sales manager or someone from Precision Garage Door would call me on Monday. As of 11 o’clock Monday night no one has called me I’m not real happy with the service.

Good Morning, Ref invoice 04788844 Steve done his job well seams to be new at this, my complaint was the help that he spent 20 minutes on the phone was worthless. In diagnosing the problem of not only why the door would open in the middle of the night and when it tried to close the limit switch would not let it. I ran a continuity test on the eyes and that check out, leads me to think motherboard. 390.00 dollars for one hour labor no parts less 20 min on the phone seams to be high only compared to the swimming pool repair business in phoenix that i owned. But the bill is paid, so mi will not be using precision door again Thanks that is just a newcomer thoughts forget these computer billing that ever blank filled in with a charge Gary

I was quoted $69.99 for the service all that was done was reprograming my home remote. and a handheld. After everything was complete, I ended up also paying an additional $15 that was not mentioned in the quote for maintenance. The service tech did a good job with the reprograming.

I had a very distressing time today. My door opener installer was very capable, however when it came time to pay for the installation the charge was $150 more than the invoice I was sent. When I asked why he was disgusted with the whole job. Apparently, it took longer than he anticipated and it was horribly hot. I feel bad about that but I can not do anything about the outside temperatures. I was also under the impression that I was getting a keypad with this but that was disclosed later that I am not getting that either. This garage door was 110% more than the one I had installed 10 years ago and that just seems excessive. I asked the guy to just run the bill and leave because I was really upset at the additional cost that I can't do anything about. I was mistakenly under the impression that the invoice was the final word. I will read documents more carefully in the future. I guess that's the world we live in. People can just sit in your house and yammer and not just do like I asked and run the ticket...I asked 3 times for him to run the ticket and leave and I'm the crazy one. It's hot and I am spent for today.

The prices are excessive. I was told there would be a trip fee, so once they're there, it's hard to turn them away, but for a simple cable ($100 each), pulley and spring replacement (just one of the springs since they are also over $100), they wanted over $400. If I had any idea that the pricing would be this high, I would have shopped around more. They offered a more in-depth replacement of all of the hardware, wanting almost $1000. Can't you buy a new door for that? Ridiculous. It was supposed to include a general check, but I had to ask him to lubricate the track. First he said there was nothing that could be done and then he reluctantly gave it a quick spray which took care of the vibration. I've had this job done in the past for less than $100. I will definitely ask for pricing over the phone the next time I call anyone for home services.

My garage door broke. I had used Precision before with wonderful success. Andrew Halvorsen was dispatched to inspect and perform any repairs. He was absolutely wonderful and I ended up ordering a new door from Precision with his most competent help. Just loved him. The day of installation October 30, 2019 unfortunately Andrew was not the installer and the technician that arrived was argumentative and lectured me on my purchase of a Direct Drive (Sommer) garage door opener I purchased independently for installation. He admitted he had never seen them before. I called the office to complain about his ugly attitude and although I was assured they would speak with him only a slight improvement was seen. Amazing that the Precision would allow any employee to treat a customer like that. This is not at all the experience I have EVER had with Precision! Bravo Andrew you are a star the other employees could learn a lot from you.

they did the job, I thought it was very pricey, should have hired the garage door people instead of a handyman if it was going to be that pricey, I didn't have the coupon for free service call because they were referred through this site, therefore they charged $49.00 did not get senior discount there were no consideration for me just a hard price!!! was desperate next time I will take my time and hire people that care about the cost!!

The person who did the on site estimate was very polite and prices seemed good. I've made 4 follow-up calls now to proceed with my estimate and the person who answers the phone states a tech will call me back but i've never received a call back. I have no other choice to take my business somewhere else.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THE PRICE. INSTALLATION WENT WELL AND THE MEN WERE PROFESSIONAL AND VERY POLITE. I THOUGHT $250 TO REPAIR A SPRING WAS TOO HIGH

I would be disappointed too! If a single residential spring cost that much, unless it was a special order or a very very big door. Looking at the work that was done, there was some confusion on explaining we replaced both springs and serviced the double door. Thank you for your review we will be reaching out and apologizing for this misunderstanding it's important to us that customers fully understand there purchase.

Tobin Watkins was my service technician and he did an outstanding job on my garage door repair. I did not have any issues with the guys that came out or the repair work that I had done. I did have a slight problem with the fact that I was scheduled from 12-2. I received a call after 2 to let me know that they were running behind and would call me when they were on the way out. I did get another call around 4:30 for more specifics of the work that I need done and let me know that they were on the way. They finally arrived just after 5pm... Had I known this I would have selected a later time in the day so I wouldn't have missed 1/2 of work.

There is no place to break up my review. Your technician was a great guy, friendly, courteous, and more. He helped us with information not provided on initial sales contacts. There was some disappointment as to "time" delays. We had what I felt was an extended wait time after our "down payment", and even then, had one excuse after another to delay installation. One was damaged panels, and the next was "the wrong panels replaced". I had several contacts and the lady I talked to was very kind and understanding of our needs as to delivery. Overall I am well pleased with your company, any problems it seems would be with your supplier. If I were asked "what can we do to improve our service", it would be that perhaps you need to shop for a supplier who will make you look good... Again, as for your people, I have no complaints, and we are very pleased with the final result.
