We just had a new garage door setup replaced. The appointment was set up for 0800-1200; Richard texted me, saying he would be at my house in 15-30 min, and he was there in 20 min. He checked out the system, explained everything that needed to be done and started the installation. The project was completed in the time period he said he would be done and clean up done. We basically had everything but the door replaced. Our old system was 26 years old. Richard was professional, explained what needed to be done and did not make me feel like I didn’t know what he was talking about but I didn’t! I will continue to use Prevision because of their reputation, pricing and technicians! Great job!

I was not home when the technician came out, but I was quoted when I called $150.00 if they had to change out my keypad. They did not have to change it out, it just had to be reprogrammed, which I was not able to accomplish when I tried to do it myself. Tech also reprogrammed 2 remotes for us. My husband said he was there no longer than a 1/2 hour and the total was $265.00. I was shocked. Would it have been cheaper for him to replace the keypad? There is really no breakdown of the charges so it’s difficult for me to quantify. How much were the remotes to program? Was the programming of keypad that expensive and would that programming have been an additional charge if the keypad had been replaced? And what is that $15.00 environmental fee for? As far as I know he did not leave with any old parts. I would like an explanation and am currently waiting for someone to call me. If I had been given a higher quote or possible additional charges had been explained to me when I asked for pricing, I could have made an informed decision on whether this was worth having done. We were still able to use the garage with our remotes we just couldn’t use keypad. I may have decided to do it anyway. I see your commercials on Fox 4 every morning and the company seemed trustworthy, that is why I called you, but I feel I was swindled. I’m sorry that’s how I feel. Hopefully someone will reach out to explain this and make it right.

When I called they gave me options for time slot for repairs next day in the afternoon/evening which is what I needed due to my schedule. The text came through right on time in that window with a picture of the technician and his name and that he was on his way. This is really good because you know who to expect showing up within that time window frame that was promised. When Steve Ray showed up I explained my issue with the broken springs and he was very knowledgeable and gave me options to choose from. He replaced the items we agreed on and was very fast and efficient. You could tell with his confidence that he repaired my issue and explained the warranty and to call back with any issues.
