Dean did a good job, was professional and got the job done quickly. The only problem I have is the ridiculous price your company charges for a door opener. I only agreed to it for my own convenience and wanting to have it taken care of quickly so it was my decision to go ahead and pay a ridiculous price because it was not a hardship for me to do so. But I feel for the people out there that don't really have the financial means and need this service and they get gouged for an opener that can be purchased for half the price. The markup your company puts on your openers is nothing but greed. You could still make a decent profit on the sale of the opener without doubling the cost. If I have the opportunity to give anyone else advice who is needing a garage door opener I would tell them to go purchase the opener elsewhere and have you guys install it. I have no problem paying for the labor but I see no way you can justify what you charge for the opener.

My expectations were surpassed. Initially with making an appointment, the representative was professional and courteous in making the appointment. The appointment was for the next day. The technician, Daray Ferguson listened and visually observed the problem. He definitely was knowledgeable and presented that knowledge and a plan for repair to me in a way that I could understand. All parts needed for what was to be done were not available, so another appointment was made for the next day. Mr. Ferguson returned the following morning and began the repair and replacement on both of the garage doors. The completed work is beyond satisfactory. The solution that he visualized to resolving not just what I initially showed him but other issues that I had not noticed were eliminated at the completion of the work. I would recommend this technician of Precision Overhead Door due to his technical skills demeanor courtesy and professionalism.

I usually don’t write reviews, but was impressed with this company. The garage door in our rental needed repair. They were able to get us scheduled next day. We were informed the technician was on his way, he arrived on time and had the door repaired in no time and they also installed a lock. Was courteous and professional. They didn’t have the ridiculous up charge of a service call plus the repair like the other company we previously used. Their rates were reasonable. This is a company we definitely will be using again and will be recommending them to anyone who needs any service on their garage door.

I saw the commercial and went with precision Door Services Kansas City because of the good reputation. Making the appointment was straightforward. To my surprise, I got an appointment on the weekend. My service professional was London and he is top-notch. I plan to come back to Precision Door Services Kansas City for all my future garage door needs and upgrades. I would like to begin by saying Edgar was an amazing service technician. Very thorough and courteous. As for the cost of the service I was shocked beyond words. I will be in contact with neighbors and friends to discuss my dismay. My charge of $390.00 is almost twice what I expected. I searched the internet to see if I was out of line and the following is what I found: Cost Breakdown for 2026 • Service Call Fee: Expect to pay $75 to $150 just for a technician to visit your home, which may be credited toward the final repair cost. • Labor Rates: Hourly rates currently range from $75 to $150 per hour, with most spring jobs taking 1–2 hours to complete. • Parts Only: For DIYers, a pair of standard springs typically costs $60 to $150. This is our third time using Precision door for garage door service over the years. We've had two garage doors replaced and 2 garage door openers replaced at different times. All with excellent service!! This last service was the day after the snow fall and freezing temperatures. I called the evening of the snow fall and they were here at 8am the following morning!! The service men were very professional and explained everything. They also sent over the instructions on use of the new equipment. London was our service guy during this freezing morning. Excellent service…. from making the initial call to getting the springs replaced. My spring broke early morning. Precision Garage Door was the only site with Garage Door Openers as a fault identification. This feature made it easy to identify the issue and outline my replacement preferences. The great thing was that I was able to get a same day service appointment. The technician London was even able to advance his arrival time by 1 1/2 hours. London removed the older equipment and installed the new Garage Door Opener & a new exterior key pad in about 1 hour.

This was an install for my Mother-in-law as we live in Panama City and had the same opener installed on our garage. Installer was excellent. Product is excellent and best opener i have had.
