To be honest, the reason we called Precision was because of the professionalism of tech we had the first time. I dont believe we will be calling again after this repair. This tech was knowledgeable but obviously worked for commission. At no fault of Precision, I believe the bar that goes through the springs wasnt installed level and is causing the bearings to wear prematurely. We werent in a position to pay $1000 at this time so we opted to only replace the springs. While everything was apart i asked he would mind lowering the bearing plates which consisted of 2 bolts/nuts per side. Was told no since i wasn’t replacing the actual bearings. I then asked if i could lower them myself since everything was apart and no tension on the springs but also no. This may have taken me a minute…more time to move the ladder than removing the 2 nuts and retightening them. We’re happy they were able to schedule us same day since our cars were trapped but this tech wasn’t interested in helping us out. Oh well, lesson learned.

We had Tyler S. over for an emergency repair. He exceed all expectations (kind, courteous, knowledgeable). He completed the job quick and went above and beyond with cleaning up our rollers and quoting us for further work we need done.

This is a great garage door repair company. They responded right away for my request for a service. Tyler the service tech. was very professional and done a great job. Gave me an estimate of work needed done before starting the job. Highly recommend this company and if all service tech's are as efficient and good at their job as Tyler you will be happy you used this company.

Dylan Shorts of Precision installed a new garage door lifter for us. He called to give us an ETA which was well in the early portion of the promised arrival window. We had a thorough discussion of alternative fixes to our problems and once a path was chosen he said he could proceed immediately and worked under the continued duress of my many questions (and with a happy attiitude) and even took delight at our appreciation of the new install. In Sshort the whole experience was very satisfying! It's a pleasure to deal with a professional.

We knew we made the right choice going with Precision for our new garage door opener. So much more quieter than our old garage door opener. Luis was our installer and was right on time as scheduled. He was fantastic. Can’t say enough about him as he answered all our concerns and questions. Very highly recommend Precision Overhead Door to everyone.

I really didn't like your representive quoting me a $795 price, them I called Overhead Door of KC Got a lower price. Then the price from you was dropped $200. That smacks price inflation. This makes me very suspicious of your original price. I think this is bad business practice!!!!

It started out rough when you sent out a rookie and he tried to sell me everything except a new kitchen sink. When he told me that my current motor had a broken sprocket and I needed a new motor, neither of which were true, I sent him packing. Someone from Precision then followed up with me and asked if it was ok to send out another tech and I agreed. That tech was Daray Ferguson who was extremely knowledgeable, honest, hard working and friendly. He absolutely would be the only reason that I would use Precision in the future. He quickly assessed what needed to be done and got to work. It was nice having someone that when they told you something needed to be replaced, I had no doubts that I needed to do it.

I called and a technician came a few hours later, explained what he could do, what it would cost, options etc, noticed my veterans license plate, asked my age, told me about discounts. Conner was friendly, professional, answered my questions, and got to work, and we are very pleased with the results.

Our sales person was Gary. He took the time to show us every possible way we could replace our garage doors. Yesterday the doors were installed. The gentleman who did the work was very good making sure we were satisfied with everything he did step bye step. He spent the time necessary to make sure our cars were able to open each doors from the openers in the cars. Very satisfied with his service.

Alex did a great job and was very informative. Another company told us our opener was old and needed replacement because a RPM sensor was going bad and the sensor was obsolete. Turns out our opener doesn’t even have that sensor. I would highly recommend Precision Thank you Alex.

We had a garage door torsion spring break recently and Precision Overhead Garage Door Service was amazing to work with! They were able to get us a same-day appointment and they arrived with all of the required parts and equipment to fix it at that same appointment. They were also able to provide us with an exact cost estimate based on what we needed fixed, there were no added charges or fees. Garrett Browne was our technician and he arrived earlier than our scheduled time window. He was very professional and courteous and did not try to "upsell" us at all on replacing anything more than what was really necessary. He was able to replace our torsion spring and a couple of other parts very quickly and the door works flawlessly. We will definitely be using Precision Overhead Garage Door Service for all of our future garage door needs, we were very impressed with their service.
