I chosed Precision Garage Door Service because of a sticker beside the garage door opener. I thought I would use the original installer. I called and gave my address and the office clerk asked me if I was the previous owner. I said I am the new owner. She then inquired about setting up an appointment with a technician which we accomplished. For your survey, I had to select an option of a service performed that was performed. The technician came to provide me a quote.

Have been seeing ads on TV lately. I called spoke with a very friendly young women and made an appointment. Richard Leon was the tech who came. He is very friendly and professional. Conner was a true professional today! He explained what issues he had determined were causing the issues with the operation of the garage door. He presented each part of the repair and cost associated. Within just a couple hours he had the garage door, keypad entry, two car remotes, safety sensors, new cables, cable drums & new springs all operational. I chose your company because of my sister who used your company some time in the last couple of years. She raved about the wonderful service and the young man t(Steve Ray) who worked on her garage doors. She had first called Overhead Garage Co, but because of the actions and suggestions of "unnecessary" work she did not use them She has praised Precision and the service man, Steve Ray, that fixed her garage doors. The young man who came to my house was prompt, very polite and explained what was needed to fix my garage door(broken cable) and also explained a possible problem in the future with the pulleys. He showed me what the "possible" problem was and I was very glad he did and I had him go ahead and replace them. He was VERY polite, took his time and explained everything he was doing and when the work was completed I was very relieved and satisfied with what he did. He was so nice & "patient (with this 82 yr old, old lady). I will always use Precision for any future door problems and again, my praise and thanks to Steve Ray for his efficient, well done job.

Door was hung up, out of balance. The Tech added new cables, new brackets at bottom of door and a new bottom seal. He kept opening and closing door until all adjustment that needed for a perfect working garage door with no hang ups.

When I called they gave me options for time slot for repairs next day in the afternoon/evening which is what I needed due to my schedule. The text came through right on time in that window with a picture of the technician and his name and that he was on his way. This is really good because you know who to expect showing up within that time window frame that was promised. When Steve Ray showed up I explained my issue with the broken springs and he was very knowledgeable and gave me options to choose from. He replaced the items we agreed on and was very fast and efficient. You could tell with his confidence that he repaired my issue and explained the warranty and to call back with any issues. Thanks Steve!

Overall I cannot find any reason to recommend this company. Paid to have a garage door opener installed because the one I had was not internet capable. Within an hour and a half of having the garage door opener installed my door would not open. Call Precision and they said they would contact the installer and nothing happened. Called back and they said they would send an emergency email and again no response. I could go on but in the end my car was stuck in my garage for 3 days. I understand the issue with the snow but you had the opportunity to resolve the issue. When you did come out I felt like I was bein g held hostage/blackmailed....pay me money to fix the door or have a $1,000 opener you can't use. I could understand if something broke I would have to pay but I had a perfectly operational door that ceased to work after your technician installed the opener...again....nothing was broken.
