I would love to write a positive review here but that is not to be the case. I had nothing but trouble from beginning to end with my experience. The day my doors were to be delivered, a hard wind grabbed them on the back of the delivery truck because they were not properly secured, and damaged all the panels for one door and some for the other door as well. So,another week goes by waiting for new panels. Rick comes out to install new doors and when he leaves one of them has damaged panels from the previous set in the box, and he has to reorder yet more panels. When he comes to install them I have him install the door handles on both garage doors while he is there. When he left I saw that the handles were both quite obviously crooked. I called again and he came back to fix them. I also informed him one of the doors was making a horrible noise when it went up and down. He said he adjusted it while he was there to fix the handles and all should be good. After about two weeks of listening to a blood curdling crashing sound every time my doors went up and down.I again called for service. This time Steve came out. He stood and looked at my doors for over and hour one evening which kept me from getting to where I needed to be until 8:30 and I was supposed to be there at 5:00. He left without knowing what was wrong and told me they would make it right, and that someone else needed to look at the doors. He left one door non functioning and the other I was told was fine. I tried to close the "good"door and it would not go down or up. I called him to come back because I could not secure my home at this point. I had to wait another 45 minuted for him to come back and disconnect this door as well and I had to leave my car outside for the night. Finally Terri was sent out . I was told he was the Senior technician and that he could help me. I looked a the situation myself before he got there and was able to see most of the issues with my own untrained eyes. Everything was off center, anyone should of been able to see this. I took pictures of the vinyl coated cable strung out all over the bar running across the top of the doors on my own, and of the crookedness of the track on my ceiling. When Terry came out finally on a Sat. he stayed for over three hours disassembling and reassembling my entire garage door debacle. He in my opinion, is the only truly trained and qualified technician Precision Door has on staff. He was wonderful,courteous,very professional and agreed that I had a huge mess to contend with. He also took photos and assured me he would let everyone know what he had to repair and deal with at the next staff meeting. I took off work early numerous times for this,left my home unlocked for them to get in and everything else. I was given nothing but new appointments for my trouble. I feel like this is a rare thing for Precision Door,but it did happen and I was greatly displeased. I hope this review stops this from happening again to anyone. I hope they keep their techs in school longer before putting them out on the job in peoples homes. Ther was an unheard of lack of trained technicians on my project. I will not reccomend Precision Door to anyone, and of course I have told this story to EVERYONE I know. Sorry, but these instances do make a difference. You're right it's not how we operate . I was hoping that by discounting our service, you only paid for one of the 2 doors to be installed that would help compensate for your time. My garage spring broke on Easter Morning, my 1st call to a competitor wanted $160 just for coming out on Easter, that did not count the cost of repair. So I found Precision on the Internet, called and to my amazement a person answered and came out within 2 hours and replace the spring and had the door working in less than 1 hour for a very fair price especially considering it was Easter. The employee was very nice and polite and made sure all was working before leaving.

Very professional and speedy work. Took a job that I would have never been able to get done on my own and made it look easy. Cost was more than I expected but getting a door that wouldn't close up and working within 3 hours of my phone call was worth it as I work out of town and needed it fixed quick.

Very satisfied with Garrett. Excellent job explaining the levels of repair available. Since I am retired and on fixed income the lower level was all I could afford. We have lived in out house for three years and always thought that we need new garage doors. I did called Precision and they came out and said that they could repair our doors and replace our garage door opener at a savings to us. They replaced the rollers,springs and installed safety lines on the springs. I we so happy the first time that I came home from the store with my hands full and could go through the garage and not have to mess around with the front door and trying to unlock it. I am very happy with the work!!!!! Also they came and gave me an estimate and said that they could have it fixed that night. They ran into a problem and had to come back the next day. But true to there word there was no extra fee for them to come back. They were very professional and cleaned up after they left. They made sure that I knew how to operate the key pad and change the code. I would recommend precision to anyone.

Work was great, price wasn't so great. Seemed like the price was at least twice what I would have thought for the parts and labor that were installed. Only took about 45 minutes to install two extension springs and four pulleys. Ask for itemized statement, electronic version that is e-mailed only has total amount indicated and no break-down.

Terry, You should of received an emailed Itemize statement along with your inspection,warranty and the Good, Better and Best solution for your door. I left a message for you, but have not heard back, so I'm mailing a duplicate Itemize statement to you. The parts purchased include the labor and tax. I did notice that you went with the better option, and replaced your pulley's, the pulley's are a commercial grade and will last you much longer than your original pulley's. We appreciate you choosing Precision and want to make sure your happy, not only with the service, but the price of the service. This was second time to use Precision Door Service. I am just as impress this time as the first. Called at 8 Saturday morning and repair person was here around 9:30. Although the news wasn't good , a new system was installed, explanations provided, good clean up, very courteous, and done in about an hour.

I found Precision on the web, called and they were able to come out the next day. Terry gave me a education on my garage door & operator. It was loud, leaking something and I knew it needed attention. I have a very heavy door, 300+ pounds and found out my operator was lifting way more than it was supposed to over 50 pounds, normal is 10-15 lbs. I needed new springs and rollers. Once Terry was finished I could hardly hear my garage door go up or down. How nice! Terry was very knowledgeable.

The service was very thorough and provided several recommendations prior to performing work. I selected the service which suited my needs and cost limitations and he performed the work immediately within an hour. I would recommend Precision to a neighbor or friend. I also want to mention I contacted the other companies like garage door guys and several others who were not responsive to my phone inquiries which doubted my confidence in their service. This is a 5 star company with comparable costs. Do not be fooled by the low advertisement adds with other companies such as additional service charges.

Maintenance & repair options with costs were helpful in decisions. Precision has always come through with immediate needs. My first service experience was when I had to be at work in the early morning. I had a broken spring and as everyone knows, you're going nowhere until it's fixed. Precision was there and I was on my way to work on time. I highly recommend their 24 hr. service.
