You are not going to like this review, and you most likely will not post it on your website, but I am going to give it anyway. Your tech was very friendly, knowledgeable, and did exactly what I needed, but the $265 charge for less than 30 minutes work, and no parts used, was totally ridiculous. Overhead Garage Door replaced the entire right-side spring about 3 years ago for $145. I am not sure why I did not call them this time around. I suppose that I saw your add on TV and decided to give Precision a try. Big mistake financially. ****I WILL NEVER CALL PRECISION AGAIN FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, please email me a receipt.

I chose Precision Overhead Garage Door Service because of their commercials. I am a first-time customer and plan to use them again in the future should garage door issues come up. The aervice was the worst experience I have ever had with any company. I was given a choice of several options togo with and the one I chose was alsothe recomendation by the employee. I was told that thw work was warranteed for 7 years at a cost of 1200 dollars and some change. Well two days later the garage door broke down. I had explained the the fixing it That Iwas ona tight budget and that mywife had ALS amd was terminal. He assured me that when the rollers springs and gears were replaced it ahould reduce the wear on the motor and ahould only put about 5 pounds of stress on the motor to lift. He also explained that when a door is lifted about balf way up it ahould stay in that poaition manually if everything os right. Well two days after the work the motor was blown and when I released the door pull cable and checked the spring it was loose and the door would not w en stay up when lifting it all the way up let alone halfway. It was obvious to me that. The spring was not adequitely tightened on the shaft. I explained this to the new tech when he came into my house and left him to do his work. Well he called me out to the garage first to make an accusation that I maybe had locked the garage door and tried to open it when it was locked. This was insulting to me. Ihave caluable things in my garage sowhen the door malfuntioned I locked it so my items would be safe. Then he went right in to ahowing me that the garage door stays up when I lift it half way up. I know the worker had to have done something when I was not in there to tighten the spring because it would not stay up at all for me. So I am 100 percent sure that was also a cover up. Bottom line this companies buisiness practices are shotty! I would not recomend themto anyone at all.

There is no place to break up my review. Your technician was a great guy, friendly, courteous, and more. He helped us with information not provided on initial sales contacts. There was some disappointment as to "time" delays. We had what I felt was an extended wait time after our "down payment", and even then, had one excuse after another to delay installation. One was damaged panels, and the next was "the wrong panels replaced". I had several contacts and the lady I talked to was very kind and understanding of our needs as to delivery. Overall I am well pleased with your company, any problems it seems would be with your supplier. If I were asked "what can we do to improve our service", it would be that perhaps you need to shop for a supplier who will make you look good... Again, as for your people, I have no complaints, and we are very pleased with the final result.

Called the morning to schedule a tuneup and they came out within couple of hours! London did a great job explaining everything and what could become a problem. He worked to fix those things and it sounded so much quieter! Also 7 yr warranty! Highly recommend!

My wife and I were out of the country when our dog sitter called telling us the garage door would not open. She sent a pic and I noticed right away the torsion spring was broken. I called my neighbor who started calling companies. Precision Door was able to come out that same day and make the repair while the other companies were out until the following week. Once home I noticed a sensor wire loose and near the follower on the opener. I called Precision and without question they sent Tyler out, who had done the previous work. They even sent a text when Tyler was on the way along with his picture. Tyler secured the wire and then informed me the work they performed the previous visit did not included the sensor and had no idea how the wire had come loose. I offered to pay for the service and Tyler refused. Are you kidding me??? What company does that? A quality job for a fair price and a 3 year warranty on parts and labor. Who provides that in this day and age? When I need future garage door work Precision will get my call.

A few years ago we had a problem with our garage door. We used Precision Garage Door Service for the first time. The technician was Daray Ferguson. He was awesome. He worked in a very efficient manner and took care of our problem. We were very pleased with his work and how professional he was. So, when the garage door started acting up again we called Precision again and asked for Daray. We were not disappointed! He fixed the door in no time. Come to find out , I could have gotten springs for my door a lot less than you charged. Shame on you for overcharging on price of springs. Your coupons are a scam! You have to have "the right item" but you don't clearly say what it covers. Everything you do is a SCAM!!!
