The prices are excessive. I was told there would be a trip fee, so once they're there, it's hard to turn them away, but for a simple cable ($100 each), pulley and spring replacement (just one of the springs since they are also over $100), they wanted over $400. If I had any idea that the pricing would be this high, I would have shopped around more. They offered a more in-depth replacement of all of the hardware, wanting almost $1000. Can't you buy a new door for that? Ridiculous. It was supposed to include a general check, but I had to ask him to lubricate the track. First he said there was nothing that could be done and then he reluctantly gave it a quick spray which took care of the vibration. I've had this job done in the past for less than $100. I will definitely ask for pricing over the phone the next time I call anyone for home services.

The tech was professional and very knowledgeable. Me replaced two springs and showed me how to care for the door and what to look for if I had problems. I think his name was Daray but I’m bass with names. I’d definitely use this company again.

We had used Precision Door many years ago so when my garage door spring broke late last night I called Precision Door. Daray Ferguson, my assigned technician, called me at 8:00 am to tell me he was on his way. I was thrilled since I could not open my garage door and my car was in the garage! I was stuck! Daray was absolutely wonderful. He was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable about how to repair the problem and improve the performance of the door. I would use Precision Door again and would also request Daray to do the repairs!

My garage door broke. I had used Precision before with wonderful success. Andrew Halvorsen was dispatched to inspect and perform any repairs. He was absolutely wonderful and I ended up ordering a new door from Precision with his most competent help. Just loved him. The day of installation October 30, 2019 unfortunately Andrew was not the installer and the technician that arrived was argumentative and lectured me on my purchase of a Direct Drive (Sommer) garage door opener I purchased independently for installation. He admitted he had never seen them before. I called the office to complain about his ugly attitude and although I was assured they would speak with him only a slight improvement was seen. Amazing that the Precision would allow any employee to treat a customer like that. This is not at all the experience I have EVER had with Precision! Bravo Andrew you are a star the other employees could learn a lot from you.

Hello, I am not happy with their service and would not recommend them to anyone. The technician that came to my house was unprofessional and used unprofessional language. He tried to sell me things that I do not want. In the end I dd not let him do any work but still paid him for service call and than called another company.

This is the company to use!!! I had never used Precision before so I was a bit apprehensive. I was convinced I needed a new opener. The appointment was set. When the tech got into the garage, his first words were "maybe you don't need a new unit. I can fix the problem for a fraction of the cost." In the end, the tech saved me $400. He was FAST, professional, courteous and a pleasant guy. I believe in loyalty - they do me good, I do them good. If i need garage door work done you can bet I will call Precision.

Your technicians arrived on time and Sawyer immediately began a point-by-point inspection of the problem garage door. He found numerous worn bearings and attributed them as the basic cause of the broken spring. After reviewing various repair options, we agreed on a course of action and the job was completed in less than an hour. I had used your company on 10/7/2013 and had a very good experience. The techs name was Adam Dressler. So when my door started making noises like it was in a bind I looked for your web site. An offer on your site stated "no trip charge if parts were purchased." I was charged $69.95. There was a tech, a supervisor and I assume a trainee who showed up which I thought was a little strange but the tech and Mr Steele proceeded to tell me all that was wrong with my door. I asked how much the repair would be and Mr. Steele got out his cell phone and added up $885.00. I thought that sounded fair and told him to fix it. When they were finished the total came to$1177.95. My wife is not well and doesn't handle controversy so I paid and thought I could get this fixed later, so I called Mr Steele the next day and all I got out of him is that more parts had to be replaced than he thought and he didn't tell me. This guy is the supervisor? He did tell me he moved here from Dallas " so he could make more commission." When I got and email from you the first time an returned it telling you that I wasn't happy I heard nothing. Hope to hear from you this time!

Tanner quickly discovered my garage door issues were not the remote battery going low, but the framing was loosening causing it to 'confuse' the sensors (along with the sunlight through the windows of the door). True, the battery was getting a little low (expected after 15 years). Did get a couple new, reliable openers; the frame was tightened; the sensors reset; new openers programmed for the door. Very pleasant young man; quick worker, very willing to explain what was happening and correct the issues with the door. Personally would not have picked having windows in the garage door, but they do keep it from being completely dark when going into it during the day, early morning or evening.
