I would like to begin by saying Edgar was an amazing service technician. Very thorough and courteous. As for the cost of the service I was shocked beyond words. I will be in contact with neighbors and friends to discuss my dismay. My charge of $390.00 is almost twice what I expected. This is our third time using Precision door for garage door service over the years. We've had two garage doors replaced and 2 garage door openers replaced at different times. All with excellent service!! This last service was the day after the snow fall and freezing temperatures. I called the evening of the snow fall and they were here at 8am the following morning!! The service men were very professional and explained everything. They also sent over the instructions on use of the new equipment. London was our service guy during this freezing morning. Excellent service…. from making the initial call to getting the springs replaced. My spring broke early morning. It was good to be able to talk to a real human when I called to schedule repairs. Rich did an excellent job and took time to explain everything well. I was disappointed that it cost more than $1,300 to replace the opener--but that may be in line with everything else in Johnson County.

Overall the visit went well and our garage door is now functional. However, what I have an issue with is quoting one price and giving the go ahead then AFTER the service is complete give a total of 300 more than the quote. It's shady because at that point the work is already done so you don't feel you have a choice but to pay it. I do not think that is right at all.

It’s Saturday afternoon and the garage door won’t go down. I called the people that my Mom has used in the past. This company has an automated system that was irritating! I decided to try you and actually got to speak with a live person. Dean came ahead of schedule. He called to ask if arriving early was OK. Dean was very professional and explained that he really couldn’t find anything wrong but the current opener was a 1999 model. Everything worked fine until I went to put the door down and it wouldn’t go down. So, we decided to get a new one. Dean had it installed and everything cleaned up in about 90 minutes. Thank you Dean for a job well done!

I believe his name is "Dave." He was very professional, respectful and low key. He explained what he was doing and reassured me that my garage doors are working well. He moved my car out of the garage so that the spray he used would not get on my vehicle. I appreciated his demeanor and also the fact that he was talking to a homeowner who is hard of hearing but kept his patience! The next time I feel maintenance is required, I will ask for him! The price was very fair for my three car garage doors.

I needed my door repaired. I was given 4 estimates. I went with the lowest one $1100 because I couldn't afford the other 3 quotes. The two technicians I had were polite, knowledgeable and kind. I am glad the door is fixed but I am upset that the warranty is for only 90 days. That is alot of money to spend without a reasonable warranty.

Installer hacked away at the sheetrock on each side of the inside garage to make room for some brackets. Looks like it was done with a hammer and left the pieces of sheetrock laying on the floor and driveway. Like I didn't just pay thousands of dollars. Happy with the door, just thought that was was unprofessional for a the company I thought I picked for a new garage door.

Precision Garage Door was the only site with Garage Door Openers as a fault identification. This feature made it easy to identify the issue and outline my replacement preferences. The great thing was that I was able to get a same day service appointment. The technician London was even able to advance his arrival time by 1 1/2 hours. London removed the older equipment and installed the new Garage Door Opener & a new exterior key pad in about 1 hour.
