We had used Precision Door many years ago so when my garage door spring broke late last night I called Precision Door. Daray Ferguson, my assigned technician, called me at 8:00 am to tell me he was on his way. I was thrilled since I could not open my garage door and my car was in the garage! I was stuck! Daray was absolutely wonderful. He was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable about how to repair the problem and improve the performance of the door. I would use Precision Door again and would also request Daray to do the repairs!

The installer showed up and answered all my questions, professionally and courteously. The price was not unreasonable and the installer obviously knew his stuff, working quickly yet carefully and always in anticipation of future moves. I had some questions on lubrication and he answered these more thoroughly than I would have expected. As a result I was able to eliminate a loud squeak in another door after he left. No doubt it will now last longer as well. he thoroughly cleaned up the area when he left. A good company, a good installer.

Used the old google machine and wanted 3 doors programmed. They were working fine until I tried to set a new remote. Real nice dude came by and wasn’t able to help. Doors are du crooning worse now and I was told I needed to replace all three doors. No thanks. Just wanted a reprogram. Bought a remote from the guy for no reason as well. Door opens now whenever my neighbor uses his door. Not impressed when the solve is buy new stuff from us vs working with a previous system. Can’t say I’m Satisfied $150 later... for nothing. Tech was cool but when it ended I had somehow bought an opener and now the doors are worse.

I took some advise and called Precision to have my garage doors installed rather than attempting to do it myself, and boy was I glad I did. As soon as Daray arrived on site I knew I was in good hands, he took me trough every step of the way making sure I knew exactly what my doors required to insure smooth operation and performance for years come. Daray pointed all the unique aspects of my doors, including size, constructions/material and rail positioning and explained in detail how to get the most out of our doors. I Purchased my garage doors from Precision 11 years ago. Never had a problem till Thursday, when the house painters taped my door shut so they could paint. Thursday afternoon, they asked me to open the door which I tried to do. Fortunately, the bracket pulled out (like it's supposed to do) since the door was taped shut on both sides. I requested an appointment and your tech came out to give me a quote. Honestly, what i anticipated to be a $250 fee to fix a broken cable turned into a $784 "fix everything" upsell which i felt was not needed and unnecessary. Your tech (Daray) kept rattling off charges up to around $500 just to "fix" the door but made it clear that it may not be fixed and that i needed to do the $799 package (which he took a few dollars off). I do not believe my door needed anything more than a new cable that snapped and your tech essentially forced me into an $800 fix that should have been a $250 fix. He was here for 51 minutes start to finish. Extremely disappointed in this type of service when i am at a disadvantage with COVID happening and needing my door fixed. They were not wearing PPE either which did not make me nor my wife happy since they had to go through the house to make the repair.
