The company was very responsive to my request for a quote and the employees were very friendly etc...However, I went with a different company for the reasons listed below. I had requested a quote for two garage doors. One was a 7x16 door and the other was a 7x8 door. I received quotes from Precision and another reputable firm for the exact SAME doors. 1) the initial quote was $1,175 higher than another firm for the EXACT same door...mfr, style, color, glass, etc... 2) After no response from me for about a week due to having a much better quote, Precision door called me to let me know that they could do much better on the price. This was by “waiving” the $650 of installation fees. Then, they could greatly reduce the cost by making a color change. This got them to the same price as the other firm. Read on.... 3) What Precision door did not disclose was that the less expensive “color” was a much cheaper product because....the wood grain was in a single direction instead of bi-directional and the finish was painted as opposed to being a baked on finish. In the end, they got to the same price as another reputable firm that was providing a better product (better finish). Everything else about the product was the same...same mfr, same series of door, same glass, etc... Anyway, I went with the firm that was up front and didn’t play games. Very disappointed in the business tactics used by Precision...no business from me.

My garage door broke. I had used Precision before with wonderful success. Andrew Halvorsen was dispatched to inspect and perform any repairs. He was absolutely wonderful and I ended up ordering a new door from Precision with his most competent help. Just loved him. The day of installation October 30, 2019 unfortunately Andrew was not the installer and the technician that arrived was argumentative and lectured me on my purchase of a Direct Drive (Sommer) garage door opener I purchased independently for installation. He admitted he had never seen them before. I called the office to complain about his ugly attitude and although I was assured they would speak with him only a slight improvement was seen. Amazing that the Precision would allow any employee to treat a customer like that. This is not at all the experience I have EVER had with Precision! Bravo Andrew you are a star the other employees could learn a lot from you.

Service was excellent. The technician clearly explained to me the problem with my opener, told me what needed to be done to fix the problem, and quoted the price. With my okay, he completed the work timely and showed me what he had done, demonstrating that the door now opened properly.

Love our new garage door opener, it is so quiet! Juanel came out to trouble shoot our opener, he informed us that it was time to consider a new one. I never felt pressured to purchase on the spot, but was happy to know that he had the time and equipment on site to get a new opener up and running. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Service because our garage door was not closing properly and getting worse on a Monday night. We have used their service in the past and was very happy then, so we decided to use them. I talked to the operator and said an appointment could be made for the next morning plus gave them a short briefing of our garage door problems. Gabriel came out around 9am the next morning and diagnosed the issues, explaining with great details of how he would be able to fix it with letting us know the pricing of each item being replaced. I told Gabriel to fix the issues as if he was working on his own home. I appreciated his great details to the work he did for us to get our garage doors working properly again. Thank you again Gabriel! We will be using Precision Garage Door Service in the future with anymore issues we encounter.

Repair fine but disappointed in trip fee and environmental surcharge that competitor did not charge two weeks for similar repair at different location. Also, left garage door opener inoperable so I had to fix myself.

Your serviceman was suppose to show between 4 to 8 pm on Saturday. No one showed . This caused me to get another company to do my repair. Because of this I cannot recommend your company to other people.

Gabriel came out to my home this morning to service my garage door opener and garage door. He was exceptionally courteous and very professional. He walked me through everything he was doing and why, and giving lots of tips on how to properly maintain the garage door myself going forward, as well as things to watch-out for that indicate need of being serviced or replaced.
