The technician arrived almost an hour early that scheduled. I am angry with myself for having so easily handed over $700 for a simple garage door repair. I should have done my research prior to the service man’s arrival to know that it only took $100 in parts and 1hr. and 20min. in labor. Granted I authorized the charge prior to the work being done, but it was only after the serviceman’s departure that I realized the fully extent of the vast overcharge. You can be assured that I won’t be making that mistake again as Precision will NOT be called to my residence in the future.

I recently called to have service on my garage door for a loud squeaking noise it was making every time I opened or closed it. The technician, Richard, was able to promptly access the issue, determine the cause and recommend the fix. He explained the issue in terms I could understand and what to look for as the rollers age. Richard was very friendly, professional and courteous.

Very pleased with Precision Garage Door. They were able to get here earlier than their scheduled time..which I greatly appreciated! The tech they sent, Nick, was very friendly and, after surveying my garage door situation, explained all nuts and bolts that would be needed to fix my problem. After I was shown what the cost would be and agreeing to the price, he went right to work and, before I knew it, he was finished and my garage door was fixed . I have my “quiet” garage door now working properly.. Thank you, Nick, for a job well done!

The installer was on the phone during the entire installation of new springs which made me think he was not concentrating on his work. Also, from what I read $750 plus tax is more than what other companies were charging. I should have done more research.

We made a mistake scheduling a service call today that was encouraged by your "Free Trip Charge" offer on a service call. The 30-minute visit by your tech was billed at 234.95. We had paid 1,800.00 for a new LiftMaster opener and hardware installed in October 2023. We figured that might be worth some courtesy with a relatively minor service (reset) needed today for the opener and remotes. We also asked about lubricating our door; that became an added charged not disclosed until invoicing. A labor charge of 150.00 for 30 minutes seems excessive, especially for a continuing customer with Precision-installed parts.

I have used the other major garage door repair company in the past but had become intrigued by the commercials I have seen. My double door had developed severe “creeks” and “groans” over the last several months. From scheduling the appt online to speaking to a phone operator to make an appt change to the tech, Conner, it was an awesome experience. Conner throughly inspected my door, hardware and spring. He found a broken hinge which would need to be replaced. When I asked about the condition of the rollers, he shared that they were still functioning but if I wanted to, he could replace them with new life time sealed rollers. I opted for replacement. Very pleased with the total price. Conner went so far as to point out a couple of areas on the door that I should keep an eye on. NO HIGH PRESSURE, just information for the future. Totally satisfied and will use again!

: After reviewing some customer comments regarding your company I decided to schedule a work order. I was pleased at the quick response as bad weather was scheduled for the next day. I did some research on various sources regarding a cost to replace the springs on my style of garage door. I carefully researched that I was comparing the correct style of spring. The average cost of replacement was $250 to $450. The average as $350. When the tech showed up he quoted me $350 per spring. I said thanks for coming but no. After about 10 minutes he said he could do the job for $350 plus $150 for installation. We settled on $350 installed The job was finished. I paid him and he left. I am 84 years old, not born yesterday but why was I subject to this treatment?

Your service technician was on time and very polite and professional. He replaced the broken springs as requested. He advised us that the rollers, cables, ball bearings, etc needed to be replaced also. He checked the third garage door and tightened some screws. We were told when we made the appointment that the charge would be between $225 and &350 including labor. However when he entered the amount in credit card, the charge was $2,049.95. We were not told in advance what the charge for additional parts would be or an invoice before the charge card was entered. He said the work and labor was guaranteed. He was here for 2 hours. The door works well so no complaint there. However even though we didn’t ask, a professional should have given an estimate before additional parts and service were done.

Nick came out and helped me go through each level of service that was recommended. I understand mechanics, but I also understand not to mess with torsion springs. One of our springs broke that was installed on our garage door system. The same system that was installed before we bought the house 10 years ago. The technician who installed that 10 years ago, also cut corners and did some things improperly. Nick helped me understand some of those errors from the previous tech and made recommendations for service. I could’ve gone without some of Nick‘s recommendations, but I knew that if I did that, I would be calling for another service appointment sooner rather than later due to expedited wear and tear on parts exceeding their service life. I chose the long-term option and the right option. You get what you pay for. Friendly, knowledgeable, and great customer service. I believe I found my garage door service company. Thanks Precision and thank you Nick!

We picked Precision because of rating and same day servicing. Even though the problem turned out to be less than expected ( belt wasn’t broken just tension came apart), I’m still happy we had you do the work. I installed the opener myself 5 years ago and never found any instructions on adjusting the belt tension which let the belt sag a little. Conner put everything back together, adjusted the belt tension correctly, set the travel stops, and checked rails and wheels were in proper working order. A special thanks for the veteran and senior discounts.

The quote on the phone did not align with the quote from the repair person. The repair person also tried to unconvincingly upsell things like replace shaft bearings and lube everything which I had just stated I had personally lube all parts and checked all hardware. That is when I noticed the broken spring. I had no work done by Precision.
