Unable to get the garage door to repeat the problem. He checked the gears etc and couldn't spot any problems. I asked for an estimate on a new opener and he gave me 3 options. I told him that if the problem occurred again that I would buy one of the options. There was no service charge for his visit.

When my garage door spring broke this week, I decided to try Precision instead of the other company. I was very pleased with the service! It was super easy to book the appointment for service. We had a bearing and double spring replaced for our uninsulated garage door and it was $850!! This should be no more than $500 max and that would even be extreme! If I had known it was going to be that much, we would have gone with someone else! We definitely will not be using Precision Door again and we will let our friends know too. I called to confirm that there wasn’t some mistake and the person was unable to help. She called the “main office” but no one was there and she “did not have the knowledge base” to give me any idea of what this type of thing would cost. Our bad for not checking with multiple places first. Not going to happen again!
