Our garage door broke on a Sunday and Terry was there within an hour. I very rarely write reviews but Terry demonstrated a very positive attitude and extreme professional competence, two qualities that are pretty hard to come by these days, especially on a Sunday afternoon. Terry got our door operational and then came back a couple of days later to install a part he had to order. When he came back, he did so at 6PM when it was convenient for us. Prices were also very reasonable.

Technician arrived during the time designated when making the appointment and advised us the best/worst scenerio of our situation. We opted to change out all the hardware (which included a 10 yr warranty) and he proceeded to do the job in a timely manner. It was somewhat more than we wanted to spend but we've had this same garage door worked on several times in the past and the repairs were only temporary so in the long run paying more to get it done "right" may be the best plan in the long run. We replaced a lot of parts; namely; springs; safety cables; extension cables; and rollers Time will be the true test to the workmanship performed. Thank YOU

The service was very thorough and provided several recommendations prior to performing work. I selected the service which suited my needs and cost limitations and he performed the work immediately within an hour. I would recommend Precision to a neighbor or friend. I also want to mention I contacted the other companies like garage door guys and several others who were not responsive to my phone inquiries which doubted my confidence in their service. This is a 5 star company with comparable costs. Do not be fooled by the low advertisement adds with other companies such as additional service charges.

Maintenance & repair options with costs were helpful in decisions. Precision has always come through with immediate needs. My first service experience was when I had to be at work in the early morning. I had a broken spring and as everyone knows, you're going nowhere until it's fixed. Precision was there and I was on my way to work on time. I highly recommend their 24 hr. service.

Terry the technician that serviced my garage door was prompt, courteous, and very knowledgeable. He called ahead of time to give me an ETA and arrived when he said he would. He replaced the springs to my door quickly and efficiently and made sure everything was cleaned up prior to departing. I will need to purchase new doors in the near future and will be calling Precision to perform the work.

4 1/2 stars. Safety cables and a spring. Overall good service. Terry (tech) very knowledgeable and polite. Phone operators were Not aware of promotions online. I had to call twice to get a different person. I still had to explain the promotion and she told me that she would put that on my ticket that i mentioned promo at booking. She did Not. Also I feel that you should put on the Web site that no coupons can be combined with promotions. (Ex: free service call with garage door repair and $15 of any garage door repair) I wasn't able to use my coupon.

I love my new garage door opener and "tune up" of the rollers and cables. It is so quiet I have to check to see if the door is going up or down. Aaron was absolutely great...He called 45 min prior to arrival he was very knowledgeable about the products fast and friendly...I had a horrible experience with overhead garage door where this was an emergency and i scheduled an appointment with Overhead....They did not bother to show or give a follow up call as to why no contact to the Customer....? Worthless People at Overhead...I would recommend Aaron at Precision Door any day of the week...He will make sure you get the best service for your Dollar...Thanks Again Aaron for your help....

1.) I selected your company from a short list of companies that my grandson brought up on his hand held computer. I saw that it was listed in Lee's Summit where our son, Jon, lives. The garage door's opening/closing problem was the purpose of my contact to your company, and secondly, I liked the name of your company. 2.) Precision Door Company is 5 star company in my opinion. 3.) The service performed was the repair of the garage door opener with the installation of a new "drive gear assembly" (my nomenclature, hope it's close to its proper name), and the adjustment of the chain after the new drive assembly was installed. The young man who performed the repair and adjustment knew his "stuff" and did a very commendable job. In addition, he was very professional and was accommodating to" this old goat" (me.) He outlined the various ways this problem could be handled and allowed me to make the best choice in view of circumstances. The garage door and closer is actually in our son's (Jon's) home. We live in north central Iowa and was in Lee's Summit to visit our three sons and their families and for me to repair the garage door and my wife to attend a baby "shower." I was "rescued" by your company in that I had never fixed a garage door with that problem in my life but was able to see I was "in over my head" with this repair job. Thanks to your company and to the young man (who did the work) all turned out fine. Jon is very happy with the garage door operation.

First time using this company. Found in yellow pages. Saw the "BBB" accreditation and decided to call. Called in the morning & said they would be here between 2-4 pm and they showed up at 2 pm exactly ! Both techs greeted me with a handshake & their first names. Extremely professional, knowledgable & polite ! Explained everything in detail, including pricing options & warranties. Said it would take 90 minutes to complete & took exactly that time ! Clean-up was quick & thorough and the final bill was explained to me in detail Would definitely recommend & will definitely be calling again if my other garage door develops similar problems. Thanks !
