My garage spring broke on Easter Morning, my 1st call to a competitor wanted $160 just for coming out on Easter, that did not count the cost of repair. So I found Precision on the Internet, called and to my amazement a person answered and came out within 2 hours and replace the spring and had the door working in less than 1 hour for a very fair price especially considering it was Easter. The employee was very nice and polite and made sure all was working before leaving.

I called Precision because they provided excellent service in 2012. I was in a time crunch with my car inside my garage and the spring broke on the garage door. Precision was able to be at my house within a couple of hours!!! Rick got everything fixed in a very hot garage. This is most certainly a 5 star company that I've called before and will call again if needed!

Extremely professional company. Excellent customer service! Terry came out for a routine broken spring replacement and was patient in explaining the root cause of the problem. The rollers and plate bearings were shot thus causing the springs to fail. He wasn't trying to sell me on everything but gave me several options. Instead of just replacing the springs, he rebuilt the whole door w/ higher quality parts. The lifetime warranty that comes with it is worth the money. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!

Steve, our technician arrived as promised between 8:00am & 10:00am. He was dressed nicely and conducted himself in a very professional manner. He knew his business well. He repaired our door. We opted to have him give it "the works" and it has never operated more smoothly.

They came out in May and installed a new garage door opener and saved us a lot of money by repairing are old garage doors. We are very happy to finally be able to use them to get into our split level. This week they came out promptly to do some minor adjustments to our opener. I am very happy with there service and employees.

They advertise free installation replacing a broken spring. However, they wanted to charge a re-torque fee. I believe that is part of the install.

Richard, Thank you for taking the time to review our service. We do not charge for installing a spring, nor have we ever. When you buy a spring from us, the price of the spring includes installation. We do however charge a simple labor or rewind fee to set any of your old springs or adjust existing parts. I hope this clears up the confusion...

I contacted Precision through the web. Having been in the contracting business myself, I certainly have very high regards for both of the technicians from the greeting to their professionalism, diagnosis, explanation of options, and getting the work done. Thank you!

Very professional and speedy work. Took a job that I would have never been able to get done on my own and made it look easy. Cost was more than I expected but getting a door that wouldn't close up and working within 3 hours of my phone call was worth it as I work out of town and needed it fixed quick.

Called on a Sunday afternoon and actually talked to a person instead of leaving a message. The person was thorough and made sure she had accurately taken down the contact information I gave her as well as the nature of my problem. The name of the employees assigned to do the work was sent ahead of time was also impressive.

I had never had to have service on my garage door so I didn't have a preference for any of the companies in the KC Metro Area. I looked online to see what I could find as it was Sunday afternoon, we couldn't get the garage door open and my husband was scheduled to leave at 8:00 A.M. Monday morning for a business trip. Precision Doors listing had everything that I was looking for at that moment, service 7 days a week. I couldn't be more pleased in choosing Precision Door. Customer service was very polite, and the tech was great. He was very thorough, found some other issues besides the broken spring,gave us two quotes, didn't pressure us in any way to fix everything in this service call and stayed until 7:00 p.m. on a Sunday evening to fix all of our garage door issues. Again, I'm usually skeptic about choosing companies from just a listing on the internet but I am definitely glad that I did this time.

Garret and Steven came out to repair our garage door. Both gentlemen were courteous and friendly. They listened to our concerns and needs. The repairs were done quickly. I would most certainly use them again.

Prompt same day service on a Wednesday with technician Terry Wilson. Indicated that our spring was undersized for the two car garage door. Replaced springs, repaired top of door where bent, reinforced. Also replaced a circuit board and inside garage door opener on the second single car garage door that was more than 15 years old. All worked well except for the new indoor garage opener. The light and lock buttons did not function. Technician Aaron Rhoades came out the following Saturday morning. Road construction in our area made it difficult to get to our house. He was very polite and apologetic for the 10-15 minute delay in figuring out how to navigate into our neighborhood. He reversed the wires on the inside garage door opener. All is good. No charge covered by warranty for the follow-up visit. Rated as a 4 star instead of a 5 just because of the need for a follow-up visit.
