On a Monday morning we discovered that the torsion spring on out garage door was broken. I called a couple of repair companies, but they could not be here for at least a day. Precision was out that morning. I not only had the spring repaired I also had all the rollers and cables replaced. The lifetime warranty that covers parts and labor was why I spent the extra. I had asked aloud in the waiting area while my car was being serviced yesterday if anyone knew a good garage door repair company. Mike Medina said that your company had done work at his home and he had been quite satisfied. I phoned this morning (12/1/15) and was surprised that you could have someone come this afternoon. The appointment was set for between 2-4:00 p.m. The technician (Joshua Beck) arrived at 2:00 on the button and went to work immediately to find the problem. As my door operator is old, he had to make a special trip to procure a part. He returned and completed the job to my complete satisfaction. He replaced the springs, and a belt for the motor. He thoroughly explained to me the problem, and the repairs needed. He also oiled the other garage door, which had been squealing loudly, taking care of that issue. Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend your firm.

We thought our g-door was shot, we had two other well known local companies come out to give estimates. Both were similar in their estimates (around $2,000). Dread! Rick from Precision came out, first thing he said "you don't need a new g-door. I can fix this." I nearly fell over. The other two companies never even mentioned fixing it as an option. Silly me didn't mention it either bc I assumed it was shot bc it was just hanging there and looked so bad that fixing it honestly never crossed my mind. Well, the other two companies took advantage of my ignoragce and ran with the new door as my only option. Literally Rick See's first words "you don't need a new g-door, I can fix this".....saved me $1700. Not only that, he fixed our opener too. When it's time to buy a new garage door, we will NOT be getting estimates. There will be only one phone call we make and one tech we request. Rick See. BLOWN away with his honesty, professionalism, integrity, he worked fast, knew his stuff, went beyond with fixing the wire on our opener. Great guy, great service. You rarely find that kind of service these days. Thank you!!

Precision delivered!! I had had another company come out and take a look at our garage doors and they immediately quoted me for brand-new motors without even looking at the ones that I had. The guys from precision came out opened up the old motors and told me exactly what was wrong with it. They even told me that if we want to get brand-new Motors that they could get it to is cheaper than the company did come before. Work was done quickly and professionally. Thank you precision for helping us avoid a mistake by going with the other guys. Keep up the good work!

These guys are fantastic. You can reach them 24hours a day 7 days a week which makes it very convenient to schedule service. They are professional and had every item on their service vehicle to fix my garage door. In my opinion they are unbeatable with a 10 year warranty.

I really appreciated the same day service. Terry Wilson did a great job of fixing our garage door and making it work like new again. He replaced springs, cables, pulleys and rollers. Would definitely give him five stars for being both efficient and courteous while here.

Terry and his partner (sorry, I don't remember his name) came the next day after I called for service. The telephone operator even tried to get me in the same day, however, I didn't want to bump anyone who had already scheduled. I opted to take the next day. Before the repair, everything was explained completely, I was given options, I knew what the total cost was going to be before the work began. Both gentlemen were very professional and the work was done in a timely manner. My thanks to both Terry and his co-worker. I will definitely call Precision again if the need arises. I do have to add this -- even Terry was impressed when I told him about it -- In my two car garage, the door behind my car is the one that wouldn't open--and I was trying to get my granddaughter to work at that moment. The other garage door did open (there was not another car parked in front of it). Long story short, I proceeded to move my car from the one door that wouldn't open to the door that would open! Tedious work indeed, but I prevailed! Anyway, Thanks Terry -- and co-worker!

Rick our installer was very good on this install. He was very honest as we worked through a couple of minor issues that were taken care of quickly. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future on any new door projects!

I would love to write a positive review here but that is not to be the case. I had nothing but trouble from beginning to end with my experience. The day my doors were to be delivered, a hard wind grabbed them on the back of the delivery truck because they were not properly secured, and damaged all the panels for one door and some for the other door as well. So,another week goes by waiting for new panels. Rick comes out to install new doors and when he leaves one of them has damaged panels from the previous set in the box, and he has to reorder yet more panels. When he comes to install them I have him install the door handles on both garage doors while he is there. When he left I saw that the handles were both quite obviously crooked. I called again and he came back to fix them. I also informed him one of the doors was making a horrible noise when it went up and down. He said he adjusted it while he was there to fix the handles and all should be good. After about two weeks of listening to a blood curdling crashing sound every time my doors went up and down.I again called for service. This time Steve came out. He stood and looked at my doors for over and hour one evening which kept me from getting to where I needed to be until 8:30 and I was supposed to be there at 5:00. He left without knowing what was wrong and told me they would make it right, and that someone else needed to look at the doors. He left one door non functioning and the other I was told was fine. I tried to close the "good"door and it would not go down or up. I called him to come back because I could not secure my home at this point. I had to wait another 45 minuted for him to come back and disconnect this door as well and I had to leave my car outside for the night. Finally Terri was sent out . I was told he was the Senior technician and that he could help me. I looked a the situation myself before he got there and was able to see most of the issues with my own untrained eyes. Everything was off center, anyone should of been able to see this. I took pictures of the vinyl coated cable strung out all over the bar running across the top of the doors on my own, and of the crookedness of the track on my ceiling. When Terry came out finally on a Sat. he stayed for over three hours disassembling and reassembling my entire garage door debacle. He in my opinion, is the only truly trained and qualified technician Precision Door has on staff. He was wonderful,courteous,very professional and agreed that I had a huge mess to contend with. He also took photos and assured me he would let everyone know what he had to repair and deal with at the next staff meeting. I took off work early numerous times for this,left my home unlocked for them to get in and everything else. I was given nothing but new appointments for my trouble. I feel like this is a rare thing for Precision Door,but it did happen and I was greatly displeased. I hope this review stops this from happening again to anyone. I hope they keep their techs in school longer before putting them out on the job in peoples homes. Ther was an unheard of lack of trained technicians on my project. I will not reccomend Precision Door to anyone, and of course I have told this story to EVERYONE I know. Sorry, but these instances do make a difference. My garage spring broke on Easter Morning, my 1st call to a competitor wanted $160 just for coming out on Easter, that did not count the cost of repair. So I found Precision on the Internet, called and to my amazement a person answered and came out within 2 hours and replace the spring and had the door working in less than 1 hour for a very fair price especially considering it was Easter. The employee was very nice and polite and made sure all was working before leaving.

I called Precision because they provided excellent service in 2012. I was in a time crunch with my car inside my garage and the spring broke on the garage door. Precision was able to be at my house within a couple of hours!!! Rick got everything fixed in a very hot garage. This is most certainly a 5 star company that I've called before and will call again if needed!
