Had very professional service when Precision worked on my garage door in the past. Recommended you to my step daughter [Renee] for her door problems. When we set up the appointment we did on-line chat to confirm we would get a heads-up before technician headed to the site. We did not receive the heads-up which was needed since no one was at house to answer the door. [Fortunately, my step-daughter happened to be there] By the time I arrived the work was completed and I paid for the work [about a half-hour job]. When I asked Landon what he found he gave me an answer like: "I knew what the problem was and took care of it." No specific steps he did. Then he said the wheels were bad and needed to be replaced. I told him no. I was going to call Precision later in November to come and check my door, but was not as impressed today with professionalism. A call to customer before arrival should be SOP. Note: because of unavailability of having someone at the house my wife's [Renee's mother who paid] phone number was given and my email was used for contacts. No one at the house should be contacted.

About three years ago, we purchased new doors, openers, etc. for our garage from Precision. The opener for our large door recently stopped working so we called Precision to help us with it. We were told that the plastic gear in the Genie motor broke but that a new motor with a metal gear was now available...for $1,500 dollars. We were also told that it was possible to swap out the gear itself for a few hundred dollars and that we would receive a call to book the service. After a few days of waiting, we called Precision to follow-up and were told that the technician had to be consulted about it and that we would receive a call back. Needless to say, we didn't receive a call back. Unacceptable. Suggesting to replace the motor for another $1,500 after spending all that money with Precision just three years earlier is crazy. Not to mention the lack of follow through. I have a neighbor who is looking to replace their garage doors soon. Rest assured, they won't be reaching out to Precision. I look forward to seeing my comments on your site.

I would recommend Precision Doors. Today was a repair on a door panel that my teenager backed into. The techs located replacements for me and provided several options on how to proceed. Last year I needed work on the outside keypad, and the job was handled very well. The guys provided options and precise cost estimates and the work was well done.

I left a review on Google as well. I made an appointment at 6:45 in the morning, my garage door wouldn’t open. I got an appointment for early afternoon. I was amazed. Antonio my tech even arrived early. He had my problem identified and offered 3 strategies to handle my repair. All the estimates were in writing and the one I chose was ended up exactly as quoted. Excellent response time and service. 1. Broken spring, unable to get my car out for appointment and first well known company could not come for two days (I had used them previously) 2. Precision could come same day, confirmed with text and picture of employee who would be coming. 3. Rich finished his current assignment and was able to come earlier than expected, also called to see if it was OK to come early. 4. I moved into my home (new) almost 14 years ago. Repairs are pricey but satisfied with price quoted and charged. 5. Rich, the repairman was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, pleasant and didn’t putz around. I appreciated the quick response and totally recommend Precision Garage Door Service.

Technician was on time, pleasant, knowledgeable, and professional. Very tidy, also -- left no mess behind. Technician fixed our garage doors perfectly; doors will now shut soundly with no gaps to let in the elements/insects. Technician also replaced rubber strips along bottom of door and weatherproofing strips, too (they were cracked and ineffective). Would definitely hire this company in the future should garage door repairs be needed -- very fast and reliable service.

The installer was on the phone during the entire installation of new springs which made me think he was not concentrating on his work. Also, from what I read $750 plus tax is more than what other companies were charging. I should have done more research.

We made a mistake scheduling a service call today that was encouraged by your "Free Trip Charge" offer on a service call. The 30-minute visit by your tech was billed at 234.95. We had paid 1,800.00 for a new LiftMaster opener and hardware installed in October 2023. We figured that might be worth some courtesy with a relatively minor service (reset) needed today for the opener and remotes. We also asked about lubricating our door; that became an added charged not disclosed until invoicing. A labor charge of 150.00 for 30 minutes seems excessive, especially for a continuing customer with Precision-installed parts.

I have used the other major garage door repair company in the past but had become intrigued by the commercials I have seen. My double door had developed severe “creeks” and “groans” over the last several months. From scheduling the appt online to speaking to a phone operator to make an appt change to the tech, Conner, it was an awesome experience. Conner throughly inspected my door, hardware and spring. He found a broken hinge which would need to be replaced. When I asked about the condition of the rollers, he shared that they were still functioning but if I wanted to, he could replace them with new life time sealed rollers. I opted for replacement. Very pleased with the total price. Conner went so far as to point out a couple of areas on the door that I should keep an eye on. NO HIGH PRESSURE, just information for the future. Totally satisfied and will use again!
