Even when you own an older home, with older equipment, you still get a sinking feeling when any part of your garage door breaks. Too many door companies appear to be looking only to sell completely new door packages. I was thrilled to see displayed in Precision’s ad, the long list of repairs they perform. Tech Andrew diagnosed my 20 year-old opener (Sears Roebuck) problem; he had a replacement part (circuit board) and as I watched, he replaced the old part and that fixed the problem. 2 weeks later, another problem an adjustment arm nut fell off (unbeknownst to me) and Andrew returned and had the problem fixed in less than a minute. No charge for the return trip. I couldn’t be happier.

It was a win/win for me. There was nothing wrong with door - operator error :-) But Andrew replaced the bottom rubber stripping, tightened every thing, oiled and showed me how to properly keep it oiled. Very satisfied with the service.

Great job. Spring broke Friday at 5PM. Called Precision and they had a tech out within 24 hours. Andrew was professional and communicated well as our time window neared and was able to service our garage door in between our boys basketball games. Great experience from start to finish, from the late night call to the 24 hour assistance line to job being completed. One of our springs broke late night, the day after Christmas. As promised on the website, they had a tech onsite ready to do the repair in under 24 hours (12 hours to be exact). The Tech Andrew was very thorough, explained what needed to be repaired and also walked me through some preventative repairs/maintenance that would help the life of the whole door system without making me feel pressured. I had a spring and steel bar break; making it impossible to raise my garage door. This was a real problem considering my van was trapped inside. I immediately got on the internet and googled garage repair places. Precision Door caught my eye because of the no extra charge on weekends and evenings; they also would be out the same day as I called. I further researched and saw they were in good standing with the BBB and an award recipient of Home Advisor. They had five star reviews, as well. Andrew was my technichian. He arrived within the specified time and was personable, cheery, knowledgable, and efficient. He gave me a choice of three different repairs and price ranges. I went with the highest because it took care of what I needed done and even more, but was still in a price range that I felt extremely reasonable. I so appreciate all that Andrew did and his professionalism. I would highly recommend this company to family and friends.

Just had Andrew H. out to our house this afternoon to repair our garage door opener. Andrew was fantastic! Personable, friendly, and provided exceptional service! What do you do when the spring on your garage door breaks on the Saturday morning of the 3-day Memorial Day Weekend and you can't lift the garage door open. Under these circumstances, my wife and I appreciated that Precision Door KC answered our phone call on Saturday and scheduled the repairs for Monday (Memorial Day). There was no need to leave a message and wait for a return call next business day (Tuesday). Andrew arrived on Monday, assessed the problem and completed the repairs efficiently. Our experience with Precision was very positive; we'll keep their number handy if needed in the future.
