Love our new garage door opener, it is so quiet! Juanel came out to trouble shoot our opener, he informed us that it was time to consider a new one. I never felt pressured to purchase on the spot, but was happy to know that he had the time and equipment on site to get a new opener up and running. He was kind and so very curtious, I would highly recommend him to everyone!

Mr. Major did all he could do but was unable to fix it because the last people that were out screwed it up and twisted it. He was able to show my husband the problem. my appointment was between 10-12PM and he was there at 10:10 that was awesome !! he was very polite and very helpful. Thank you for trying and explain everything.

Sean was a great guy with a terrible script. I don't need new rollers at $19 apiece on a 2 year old door. Don't need some Wi-Fi transmitter so a friend can get in to borrow a tool when we're in Mexico. Don't need to pay a $20 fee for gas and EPA disposal in addition to a trip fee. Don't need to pay $200 for sensors that I can buy for $40. Wasted $69 on a trip charge.

Devion came to repair our garage door on Monday. He first inspected the door and tracks. He was very professional and explained everything so even I could understand. Terry was on time and one of the nicest and most knowledgeable servicemen I have ever met. He performed the work in an unbelievable time and explained everything that he had done afterwards. He gave us options on what we could do and prices for each option. We ended up with a total rebuild of our system and are glad we did it !

Very prompt and courteous. Gave us options to choose from without breaking the bank. We use our garage door more than the front door. After 12 years it was time. Ended up replacing the whole unit. More than one garage door remote included in the package would've been great, but I still think I made the right choice!

Michael was ahead of time and after a brief discussion as to the problem we were experiancing, he immediately got to work to diagnose the problem. He told us that the mother board in the motor unit had apparently been fried from electrical surge while we were on vacation. He could have fixed it but the unit was only 6 months old (from another company) and it should be looked at for warrenty replacement. He told us that if we were not satisfied with "the other company", that he would be more than glad to repair or replace the motor for us. He checked all of the rails that Precision had installed and made a couple of slight adjustments. We went to Precision after the "other company botched the install of a new track went awrye and they couldn't fix it for a month. Brian and his Precision team will be the only people to service our three garage doors after "the other company" replaces the motor. Thanks Mike for a professional service call. dear sir I normally don't fill out the questionnaires but the service that I received from your technician goes far beyond outstanding the young technician Terry who replaced the springs on my garage door was courteous informative and also went the extra mile by lubricating my other garage door and adjusting the track so the door fit tighter yes I would definitely choose you again.

The lead guy was rude. Gets there at 4:30 and says - do you have coffee? My husband made a pot and then he asked for cream and sugar. Really? He couldn't have stopped at QT? He got snippy when the email receipt didn't come they the first time he tried it and he had to retype everything. The guy with him was very polite.

I sorry for your experience and i spoke to the tech. since something didn't sound right. After they arrived your husband asked it they would like a beverage and he said sure if you got coffee! ( being cold outside ) Our company has gone paperless for the most part and this new technology can be a little frustrating he meant no disrespect towards you and only his discomfort with his new ipad.

Dave, Thank you so much for your help today and for taking the time to set me in the right direction. In my haste (& panic) to solve the problem with my door opener, I failed to stop and remember that it was 16 years old, and that the gears had already been replaced at least once before. Instead I just picked up the phone and called Precision Door Company. I really appreciate your concern for my situation, and for providing the best recommendation for me, not the one that would cost me the most money. You not only saved me from wasting your time, but you saved me from paying a $85 service call fee, just to have you tell me my opener was trashed and should really be replaced. You also gave me some great recommendations on the new openers that you sell, and warned me to stay away from the lower quality openers on the market. I appreciated all of your recommendations, and your honesty in your approach. I have purchased and installed several openers over the years, and so I am choosing to do some research and then purchase and install a replacement. If I find that I cannot do this on my own, you will be the first person & company I call. Thank you again for your honesty, and for doing business “the old fashioned way”, where the customer needs come first, not the products you need to sell. The company was very responsive to my request for a quote and the employees were very friendly etc...However, I went with a different company for the reasons listed below. I had requested a quote for two garage doors. One was a 7x16 door and the other was a 7x8 door. I received quotes from Precision and another reputable firm for the exact SAME doors. 1) the initial quote was $1,175 higher than another firm for the EXACT same door...mfr, style, color, glass, etc... 2) After no response from me for about a week due to having a much better quote, Precision door called me to let me know that they could do much better on the price. This was by “waiving” the $650 of installation fees. Then, they could greatly reduce the cost by making a color change. This got them to the same price as the other firm. Read on.... 3) What Precision door did not disclose was that the less expensive “color” was a much cheaper product because....the wood grain was in a single direction instead of bi-directional and the finish was painted as opposed to being a baked on finish. In the end, they got to the same price as another reputable firm that was providing a better product (better finish). Everything else about the product was the same...same mfr, same series of door, same glass, etc... Anyway, I went with the firm that was up front and didn’t play games. Very disappointed in the business tactics used by Precision...no business from me.
